Emma Thompson grants wish of teen with CF

Tuesday July 21, 2009
Emma ThompsonIsabelle Brown, age 13, got her wish granted by a children's charity--to meet actress Emma Thompson. On July 15, Isabelle spent a day with Ms. Thompson on the set where the upcoming sequel to the movie Nanny McPhee is being filmed. Isabelle, who has CF (cystic fibrosis), was nominated for the "wish" by the Great Ormond Street Hospital, where she goes for treatment. The day was organized by Rays of Sunshine, a charity that makes wishes come true for terminally and seriously ill children between the ages of 3-18 in the United Kingdom.
