Christmas Disease and Hemophilia

Hemophilia is caused by a deficient clotting factor in the bloodHemophilia, an inherited tendency of males to bleed, has been known about for more than a thousand years, but only brought under control in the last 50 or so years. Christmas disease, a less common type of hemophilia, was named after a 10-year-old boy who had it.
