Patent Ductus Arteriosus

Patent ductus arteriosusPatent ductus arteriosus (PDA) is a type of heart defect present at birth. Premature babies are at higher risk for having a PDA, as are babies born with other types of heart defects. About 3,000 babies are diagnosed with PDA each year in the United States.
