Cystoscopy is used to look inside the bladderOctober 31, 2008, is Interstitial Cystitis Awareness Day. Interstitial cystitis, also called "painful bladder syndrome," is a disorder with symptoms of pain, pressure or discomfort related to the bladder and/or frequent or urgent need to urinate. Its cause is unknown, and it is not known exactly how many people in the world are affected by it.
