15th Paediatric Rheumatology European Society Congress

The 15th Paediatric Rheumatology European Society Congress will be held September 14-17, 2008, at University College London. According to the Society, the philosophy of the Congress is to link clinical observation with research, and translation of research back into treatment for patients. The Society states it will try to give a more multidisciplinary feel to the meeting and wants to encourage all health professionals to come to the plenary sessions. The four main topics for the Congress are juvenile arthritis, juvenile dermatomyositis, vasculitis and pain. There will also be novel symposia such as sport and exercise in young people and adolescents with inspirational speakers.
