Very good, my 2 sons and grandson have this and I like to see it being brought to the attention of others, thank you for putting this info out there.
That’s it? That’s all you have to say about it? More people have this disease than cystic fibrosis, muscular dystrophy, hemophilia, Down syndrome and sickle cell anemia combined!
I feel that if I were a PKD patient newly diagnosed and doing my own research, I would feel that there is not enough information for me to know what the disease was, what various treatments are available, nor the possible outcome of this disease. I have several family memebers that have been diagnosed with PKD, and I must say this site has the least amount of information than I have seen on most other sites. I feel that this site does not provide adequate information.
The focus of this site is rare diseases. Therefore, the focus of the article was on the rare form of polycystic kidney disease. Links are provided for those looking for information on the more common form of PKD.
