Azithromycin slows lung deterioration in cystic fibrosis

Tuesday October 31, 2006
Lungs / A.D.A.M.A study published in the October issue of the journal Thorax describes research into cystic fibrosis and the use of the antibiotic azithromycin. French researchers split 82 youth (average age 11 years old) with cystic fibrosis into two groups. Forty children received either 250 mg or 500 mg oral azithromycin three times a week for 12 months. The remaining 42 children received a sugar pill (placebo). The results showed that the 40 children receiving the antibiotic had less respiratory problems than the other group of children, including less respiratory infections. This was good because frequent respiratory infections cause lung damage in people with cystic fibrosis. The study suggests that long-term use of low doses of azithromycin may be beneficial in individuals with cystic fibrosis.

I would like very much to spread the word on a product that pulled my grandson back from deaths gate due to this disease. At the time that he started receiving it his immune system was at 0. He was making a trip to the emergency room at least 3 times a week and was receiving breathing treatments 4 times a day. His daily medicine was of 14 different types ranging from steroids to antibiotics. There are 2 specialists seeing my grandson and both have been astounded by his progress but are not allowed to even talk about this product to anyone for fear of losing their jobs.

My grandsons immune system is over 80% now, he only takes 3 medications along with the product we are giving him. Chase is now 10 years old and plays soccer like any other kid.

I won’t mention the product here because I don’t know if it’s allowed. But let it be known that there is a product out there that really dose help. No it is not a cure but my grandson is still with us and going strong.

Don, if you have something that works for CF then say what it is. I can’t think of anything that helps CF that would be so secretive as to get people fired.

Its a product called Immuno Guard. There is more than one that goes by this name so be carefull. It is manufactured by a MLM company which is a shame since they focus more on the MLM game than on their product. I became a distributor in order to get it directly for him because the distributors come and go so fast it was hard to maintain an uninterupted supply.
As for the CF Foundation they threw it back in my face without even looking at it. The specialsist treating Chase aproached the board about it and were told that it was a subject that was not to be discussed or mentioned to anyone ever. So there you have it. Odds are this will be deleted just like the others. Snipe1038@gmail.com
