Ataxia Telanangiectasia

This genetic disorder affects the central nervous system, eyes, skin, and immune system. It affects both males and females, and is usually diagnosed in early childhood. Although the gene for ataxia telangiectasia has been identified, there is as yet no cure for the disorder.
