Hereditary Angioedema treatment

Genzyme Corp. and Dyax Corp. have announced a joint venture to continue the development of a drug to treat hereditary angioedema, a rare disease that causes attacks of subcutaneous, abdominal and/or laryngeal swelling. The drug, DX-88, is in Phase 2 clinical trials. Read Genzyme's press release to learn more.
